Il progetto di interior design realizzato in una villetta degli anni ’70 è stato concepito come uno spazio unico dove trovano posto i luoghi collettivi dell’abitare, così da creare una continua relazione tra le persone che vi soggiornano. La parete strutturale tra la cucina e il salotto risulta essere l’elemento generatore di tutta la stanza, in quanto regola i percorsi al suo interno creando quinte attrezzate in continuità con quello che vi sta di fronte.

Nel lato salotto, troviamo una boiserie in legno di noce europeo caratterizzata da mensole e cassettoni; dal lato cucina, invece, si sviluppa un mobile contenitore in MDF nero ad ante scorrevoli. Due facce opposte che riflettono il carattere, tramite materiali diversi, delle zone della casa su cui si affacciano.

La cucina, ricavata nella zona sottoscala e disposta a “L”, dal disegno essenziale e geometrico, risulta leggermente sospesa alla base, diventando “oggetto” indipendente all’interno dello spazio. Interamente realizzata in MDF nero verniciato, con piano lavoro e fondale in acciaio inox, è caratterizzata da un’illuminazione totalmente incassata.

L’angolo pranzo, posto tra la cucina e il salotto, separa i due ambienti creando un intimo spazio dedicato alla convivialità.

The interior design project for a small house from the 1970s was conceived as a unique space where there are communal living areas in order to create continuous contact among the people staying there. The structural wall between the kitchen and the living room shapes the dynamics of the entire room insofar as it controls the routes inside it creating furnished settings in keeping with the areas opposite. On the living room side we find a European walnut wood boiserie with shelves and drawers; whereas the kitchen side has a black MDF storage cabinet with sliding doors. Two different appearances which, through their different materials, reflect the character of the areas of the house they face onto. The L-shaped kitchen, created in the area under the stairs, with its essential and geometric design, is slightly suspended at the base, becoming an independent “object” within the space. Made entirely of coated black MDF, with a stainless steel work top and backsplash, it features fully recessed lighting.

The lunch area, situated between the kitchen and the living room, separates the two rooms creating an intimate space for conviviality.
